512 Outlaw Wrestling has one of the most knowledge coaching staffs in the state. Our program is designed to develop wrestlers to their maximum potential regardless of the skill sets they possess when they first join the 512OWC Family. We start with focused drilling and techniques on high percentage wrestling, expanding our curriculum to advanced level techniques to shape and further develop our most proficient wrestlers. We treat each student athlete at 512OWC independently, guiding them on a path that will allow them to become the best wrestler they can be.
No, training with 512 Outlaw Wrestling can serve as your "go to" or as a supplament to the training a wrestler receives from your high school or other club wrestling programs. We do offer year round training opportunities for wrestlers at all levels. We're devoted to not only helping wrestlers reach their full potential but to grow the sport and we believe we can do so by welcoming all.
Absolutely girls can and they are part of 512OWC!!! Texas is one of the nationally recognized leaders in female wrestling, the second states in the US to sanction female wrestling as a UIL Championship sport in 1999 (Hawaii first in 1998, more information please go to Wrestle Like A Girl). We encourage female participation not only in the sport but to join and be part of the 512 Outlaw Wrestling Family.
No, we are a full-time wrestling program and coaches have coached beginners all the way to national champions. The coaching staff has the scope and bandwidth to aid in the development of your wrestler. Although our annual training calendar is broken into four distinct training cycles, Fall Preseason, Winter Folkstyle, Spring Olympic Style and Summer wrestling, if we have an engaged wrestler than anytime is the right time.
512 Outlaw Wrestling is a wrestling program, designed and founded on the principals to devote coaching expertise and resources to the development of all wrestler regardless of age or skill level. We work with wrestlers throughout the greater Austin, Texas metropolitan area, from elementray to our adult or masters wrestling program.
On your first day training with us, as a month-to-month member or a "drop-in" member you will need to have register online prior to attending your first training session. If you are under 18 you will need a parent/guardian to do this for you. You can find membership options and practice schedule by clicking on this link, membership and schedule.
You MUST present to a 512OWC coach your current USA Wrestling Athlete membership card prior to starting your first training session. If you do not have a current USA Wrestling Athlete membership, please visit https://www.usawmembership.com/ to purchase or renew a USAW membership. NO exceptions.
